The founder of OXO^® was well aware of the problem some people have gripping and using everyday items, because his wife had arthritis. Because of this, he designed products that would be easy for all people to use. For OXO, this means designing products for young and old, male and female, left- and right-handed people.

The design of the syringe was focused on making it easy to use.
